Vic Vaughan Toyota of Boerne spreads holiday cheer with charitable fundraiser for Arms of Hope

T his year, the fundraising effort saw an incredible outpouring of support, with VVTOB employees and VVFF collectively raising $44,444 for the cause.

Vic Vaughan Toyota of Boerne serves the Boerne and Kerrville San Antonio areas as a premier Toyota dealership, proudly operating for over 16 years. The dealership is renowned for providing outstanding customer service and actively engaging in community-focused initiatives. Together with the Vic Vaughan Family Foundation (VVFF), they give back to the local community by supporting various initiatives, such as ending hunger, assisting disadvantaged women and children, aiding local governments, and honoring military veterans.

One of the cornerstone efforts of the dealership’s charitable initiatives is its long-running support of Arms of Hope, a nonprofit Christian care organization. Arms of Hope provides safe havens for children and single mothers in need, helping them avoid homelessness, poverty, abuse, and neglect.

This holiday season, Vic Vaughan Toyota of Boerne (VVTOB) hosted its 14th annual charitable fundraiser, benefiting families at the Arms of Hope, Medina Children’s Home. The event continues the dealership’s cherished tradition of charitable giving during the holiday season, providing much-needed support to families facing difficult circumstances.

Shawn Vaughan, Dealer Principal and CEO of Vaughan Automotive expressed his pride in continuing the annual tradition: “We’re honored to carry on our Christmas tradition of charitable giving. It’s an honor to come together and share our resources to bring joy and support to those in need during the holiday season.”

In addition, this year, the fundraising effort saw an incredible outpouring of support, with VVTOB employees and VVFF collectively raising $44,444 for the cause. $22,222 of that total came from the dealership’s employees, with the Vic Vaughan Family Foundation matching the sum dollar-for-dollar. This generous contribution provided meaningful relief to 40 mothers and 87 children, ensuring that these families experienced the joy and warmth of the season.

The funds raised were used to purchase essential items for the mothers and holiday gifts for the children, making a direct and tangible impact. Beyond the material gifts, the fundraiser also gave families in need the invaluable gift of hope, reinforcing VVTOB’s commitment to strengthening the local community and spreading holiday cheer.

Through this annual holiday tradition, Vic Vaughan Toyota of Boerne has once again demonstrated the power of community support and the impact of giving back, ensuring that families in need feel the magic of the season.
