General Motors’ luxury brand, Cadillac, has released important information about its newest high-end Sedan, Celestiq EV. This Celestiq EV is going to retail at an estimated $300,000. Keep in mind that $300,000 is just a starting point. Depending on upgrades and technologies installed in the EV, the price can and will continue to rise.
Cadillac will only produce about 500 Celestiq EVs each year to drive interest as well as demand while also accounting for the limited supply of materials. This limited-edition electric vehicle is one of the first luxury brand EVs to hit the market. They are expected to release the prototype this Summer, where new technologies will be tested and marveled at.
Celestiq EVs will be manufactured and produced by the end of 2023 after the initial prototype is tested and revealed to the world. Cadillac hopes to compete with other luxury brands EV companies like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and Rolls-Royce. The electric vehicle is expected to have a low glass roof. The glass ceiling, though, is also a touch and smart screen. Although Cadillac first produced comfortable sedans, they are now expanding its horizons by producing quality sports cars that compete with German luxury players. Not all of General Motors’ plans have gone well, though, as they launched an expensive $80,000 hybrid vehicle, CT6, that was discontinued shortly after its release.
