NADA Show video competition winner Brian Huth joins Chairman Bobby Sight to discuss the upcoming event

From July 31 through Oct. 31, the National Automobile Dealer Association (NADA) opened registrations for the NADA Show Video Competition, where dealerships could showcase the passion, drive, and excellence that defines their dealership. With just a few weeks left until the NADA Show (Feb. 1 through 4), the NADA video competition has a winner.

On the latest episode of Inside Automotive, we’re joined by Bobby Sight, NADA Show Committee Chairman and Brian Huth, General Manager of Five Star Ford Dallas and this year’s NADA Show video contest winner, to learn more about the contest and what’s in store for NADA 2024. Watch the winning video here

Key Takeaways:

1. 2024 is geared up to be huge for the industry. According to Sight, “We know the best spokespeople in our dealerships are our customers. So, for the NADA Show, which is produced by dealers, for dealers, the video competition enables our dealers to be the best spokespeople for other dealers.”

2. With the video competition, Sight asserts that a group of NADA-driven employees judge the submissions received based on key criteria such as creativity, the message, and the quality of video production.

3. The NADA Show video competition winner will receive an all-access pass to the show; their video will be broadcast on the main stage EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

4. According to Brian Huth, last year’s competition winner, the video competition was an excellent way for his team to showcase their dealership. Huth also mentioned that his dealership focused on the team as the stars. For example, Huth says, “The team was made for video because they send out 5,000 videos to their clients every month.”

5. Apart from the video competition, this year’s show and expo will feature three renowned speakers, including John Tahher, Danica Patrick, and Kurt Warner. Attendees will also hear from NADA’s incoming chairman, Gary Gilchrist, and outgoing chairman, Geoffrey Pohanka.

6. The NADA Show in Las Vegas will have over 500 vendors, focusing significantly on EV distribution. Additionally, the Women Driving Auto Retail event will be held for dealerships seeking to implement diversity and focus more on minority and women-owned executives.

"The best thing us dealers can do in our industry is show up and continue to be everything we can possibly be for our customers." – Bobby Sight
