Sometimes, there’s good news with auto retail (like September’s numbers) and sometimes there’s good news that helps auto retail. The latest CNBC Economic Survey showed that the American economy is at a 10 year high. Not only is manufacturing at a 13 year high, but service sector activity is at a 12 year high. There ar ea record 6.2 million open jobs in the U.S., semi-truck sales are strong, and despite what people are saying about the fall of retail, there were nearly 700,000 dealership hires in the past year. Vehicle Marketing Language – How keywords on car sites influence your choices
In a new CDK study, dealers who use the right words in their online descriptions of cars have been able to attract more buyers, while those who use the wrong words lose sales. The study says that when it comes to buying new cars, there are four broad demographic groups that stand out: Generation X, people with children, women, and new college graduates, and each of these demographics responds positively and negatively to different words.
