Today on CBT News, anchor Jim Fitzpatrick is joined by Hugh Hathcock, Owner and Founder of Velocity Automotive Solutions, home of VelocityEngage and ReconVelocity. He is joined by Dominic Ford, General Manager of Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando. Ford’s dealership recently switched over to Velocity Automotive Solutions, and he joined the show to discuss his experience.
Ford begins the conversation by talking about why his team made the transition to Velocity Automotive Solutions. In the past, Mercedes-Benz of South Orlando had utilized multiple vendors that had separate operating systems. For Ford, it just made sense to make the switch to Velocity Automotive Solutions because it met every need in one interface without the headache of multiple operating systems.Â
VelocityEngage is one of the company’s new platforms that provides a powerful digital sales presentation tool designed for internet sales managers, salespeople, and BDC agents. The solution provides high-quality, consistent in-store and remote digital sales presentations. Dealers can showcase their inventory, dealership, and salesperson with auto-generated digital portfolios.Â
Hathcock adds that salespeople’s engagement has increased tremendously from using VelocityEngage. Stores that have created accountability with general managers and salespeople to use the tool are seeing very strong results. This is improving the overall process at the dealership and leading to more cars being sold.
Hathcock and Ford conclude the conversation by discussing the benefits of switching to ReconVelocity. This solution has been crucial for dealers who are looking to increase the speed at which they can sell used cars. The auto recon software can create higher gross profits on used-vehicle sales and can help dealers find buyers before the recon process is complete.
