“This will be the year of consumers saying, ‘I want more vehicle.'” That’s a quote from Jonathan Smoke, Chief Economist for Cox Automotive, on a panel discussion at an event in Detroit a few weeks ago. WardsAuto reports that Smoke believes that consumers will buy fewer vehicles, but “more vehicle,” and right now, that vehicle seems to be the truck.
