Ford launches exclusive off-roading school for 2024 Ranger Raptor owners

Ford Performance Racing School will provide the Ranger Raptor trucks and safety equipment.

Ford has recently announced the launch of a new off-roading school that is exclusively available to owners of the 2024 Ranger Raptor pickup truck.

This exclusive owner experience, known as the Ranger Raptor Assault School, will take place at the Ford Performance Racing School in Tooele Valley, Utah, starting in June this year.

Owners of the 2024 Ranger Raptor can register at RangerRaptorAssault.com to attend a one-day training session in Utah’s high desert terrain. The vehicle’s purchase will include the cost of the program.

Moreover, the program has been developed in collaboration with Ford Performance Engineers. It includes a range of challenging terrains and maneuvers to help students gain knowledge, confidence, and off-road skills. The training will cover rock crawling, side-hilling, climbing, braking, descending, and Baja runs.

Ford Performance’s general manager, Will Ford, stated that they aim to enable owners, regardless of whether they are off-road enthusiasts or not, to experience the complete potential of Ranger Raptor and gain a genuine understanding of the passion and attention to detail that Ford engineers invested in its development.

At Ford Performance Racing School, the dedicated instructors actively assist drivers at all levels in improving their skills and building their confidence. To promote appropriate off-road driving, participants will receive both classroom instruction and off-road lessons that adhere to the Tread Lightly principles.

Ford Performance Racing School will provide the Ranger Raptor trucks and safety equipment, while participants are only responsible for their travel and accommodation costs. Additionally, meals will be provided for all participants.

Compared to the regular pickup, the Ranger Raptor stands out, just like other Raptor variations. To start, the base price is $57,065, while the Ranger’s sticker is $34,265. Rather than being a more powerful Ranger, it would be more accurate to think of the Ranger Raptor as a scaled-down F-150 Raptor. It has a long-travel suspension system, 33-inch BFGoodrich K03 all-terrain tires placed on the enlarged front and backtracks, and a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine producing 405 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. All in all, off-roading in this vehicle should be an exciting experience.
