April is just around the corner and with it comes this year’s Digital Dealer Expo. From April 9 through 12th, Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida will host this year’s expo with over one hundred educational sessions answering your questions regarding all areas where technology and car sales intersect. These sessions will be led by top dealership executives, trainers, and consultants, such as Sean Welsch, the founder, and CEO of Car Biz Done Better, eCommerce Director for Jeff Wyler Automotive Family Kevin Fry, and many more. Today, technology is rapidly changing how we interact with the world. That’s why this expo is vital to anyone hoping to maintain an edge in the industry. Breakout sessions, seminars, case studies, and roundtables will provide you with strategies you need to remain competitive. Attendees will also be able to meet and share best practices with others who work at similarly-sized dealerships at Peer Strategy Roundtables. On the topic of sessions, there will be two keynote addresses and one keynote panel at the expo. These give a taste of the overall scope of the topics that will be discussed throughout the the convention. The first, delivered by Robert Richman, is titled Built for Growth: The Values-Based Company — How Zappos Became the #6 Best Place to Work in America and #1 in Customer Service. The second address will be given by Gail Kasper, owner of GKTV. It will cover how to harness the power of video to outshine the competition. The keynote panel, titled The Heart of Growth: How Community-Centricity in Automotive Retail Brings Purpose, Satisfaction, and Loyalty, will host an illustrious group of panelists: Doug Wilson, Erich Gail, and John Alfirevich. If you’re not able to attend in person, don’t panic! The Digital Dealer Expo is making a number of the addresses available via recording. But it is worth making the trip, and the organizers have you covered in case your boss isn’t yet on board. They’ve posted a five-step plan that should have them change their mind.
There will also be a Digital Dealer Exhibit Hall featuring the latest tech products and services from more than one-hundred-and-thirty providers. A map of the expo shows a wide array of available presentation booths, including AutoTrader, CarGurus, Women in Automotive, and Force Marketing.
