Cadillac revealed its new 2026 Escalade IQL, a long-wheelbase, all-electric version of its iconic full-size luxury SUV. Priced from $132,695, the Escalade IQL promises a powerful blend of performance, luxury, and cutting-edge technology. Production is scheduled to begin in mid-2025 at General Motors’ Factory Zero in Detroit, with deliveries expected to follow shortly after.
The Escalade IQL offers significant upgrades over the standard Escalade IQ, including increased passenger and cargo space, making it ideal for consumers who require both luxury and practicality. The IQL boasts a range of 460 miles on a full charge and the ability to recover up to 116 miles of range in just 10 minutes via fast charging, addressing one of the major concerns for EV buyers: range anxiety.
The SUV is powered by a 24-module GM battery, providing 205 kWh capacity. It generates an impressive 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds when equipped with the Velocity Max package. The vehicle also boasts a maximum towing capacity of 7,500 lbs, appealing to customers who need both power and versatility.
In terms of luxury and comfort, the Escalade IQL features a spacious interior with more than four inches of additional legroom in the third row compared to previous models. Cadillac’s tech-forward design includes a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display, providing an immersive infotainment experience. The vehicle also offers advanced driver-assistance features, including Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free driver assistance technology, and a standard 21-speaker AKG Studio audio system, with an option to upgrade to a 42-speaker system.
The Escalade IQL also offers unique design elements, with a longer silhouette that enhances passenger comfort and cargo capacity. A large eTrunk compartment under the hood adds an additional 12.2 cubic feet of storage space. Inside, the vehicle has luxury features such as massaging seats, heated and ventilated options, and stowable tray tables for rear passengers.
The launch of the Escalade IQL is part of Cadillac’s broader push to transition to an all-electric lineup by 2030. This ambitious shift comes as the brand seeks to regain its status as a leader in the luxury segment. With the addition of the Escalade IQL to its lineup, Cadillac looks to strengthen its position in the luxury SUV market, offering consumers a fully electric alternative without compromising on performance, comfort, or technology.
The Escalade IQL will be available globally, including in the U.S., Canada, and China, and is expected to appeal to a growing segment of eco-conscious luxury SUV buyers.
