Before deliveries of Tesla’s Model 3 are delivered at the end of this year, Business Insider says the company is actively trying to eliminate any misperceptions about that particular vehicle. According to Elon Musk, the Model 3 should not be seen as the next-generation Model S. In fact, Musk wrote “we have seen a belief among some that Model 3 is the newest and more advanced generation of Model S. This is not correct.” The Model 3 will be Tesla’s first mass-market vehicle priced at $35,000. It does not include the enhanced autopilot or self-driving software packages. When the topic of autonomous vehicles came up at a recent Ted Talk event, Musk had high ambitions for the future of self-driving vehicles.
