David Mondragon is currently a Vice President and Managing Director of Incentive and Pricing Solutions for S&P Global Mobility, leveraging an extensive background in automotive sales and marketing. In this role, he leads a team focused on creating and launching new products and services for S&P Global Mobility clients. Under his leadership, the team’s main objective is to establish new capabilities in incentive planning and optimization. This highly complex role involves working with different teams from various businesses within S&P Global Mobility. Mondragon also has led the integration of Market Scan into S&P Global Mobility and works with other S&P Global Mobility businesses, including automotiveMastermind, Carfax, and other key partners, to deliver top-notch data analytics and insights for S&P Global Mobility clients. Mondragon joined S&P Global Mobility (then IHS Markit) in 2019 after a lengthy tenure at Ford Motor Company, where he began his career in administrative roles before taking on various executive positions, including President and CEO of Ford of Canada, leading Canadian operations through the Great Recession. During his time in this role, Ford became the top-selling automaker in Canada for the first time in 50 years. He also served as Executive Director of Marketing and Sales for the Ford and Lincoln brands in the U.S., working on customer-focused growth strategies that propelled the Ford brand to #1 status in the U.S. market at the time. In these roles, Dave oversaw all aspects of U.S. Consumer Marketing, Advertising, Product Development, Incentives, Auto Shows, and Performance Racing (NASCAR & NHRA) at Ford Motor Company. He also worked closely with Ford’s robust dealer network and took pride in partnering with dealers. Mondragon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento, Calif., and a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.
