We’re pleased to welcome back Mark Sokal, a 20-year automotive veteran who founded Sokal Media Group and Webstreak. Now merged into one company under the name Sokal, this marketing agency has over 100 employees and well over 350 clients around the nation. In this segment, anchor Jim Fitzpatrick and Mark Sokal discuss the critical elements that your dealership’s website needs to have.
With the uptick in online transactions and retailing due to the Coronavirus pandemic, getting consumers to your website is more important than before. The automotive retail industry has always been a numbers game, and according to Sokal, increasing website engagement should be the top priority for dealers.
In order to build higher traffic volumes, Sokal says that a comprehensive site map is key. A site map is a collection of your website pages, and it catalogs the relationship between different areas of your website. Search engines, like Google, use site maps to find, crawl, and index your website’s content. Ultimately, site maps enhance the ranking of your website in search engine results. This is only one of many features that Sokal emphasizes in their approach.
The main objective at Sokal is to leverage these website features in order to generate more leads. Sokal is very confident that the sites his company creates outperform other providers. In light of this, Sokal is offering viewers six months of website development and management at $0 cost and no contract, so dealers can compare results against other providers.
