On today’s show, CBT’s Jim Fitzpatrick is joined by Keith McKinzie, CEO of Kruse Motors Group in Marshall, Minnesota. Jim and Keith talk about how COVID-19 has affected Keith’s small-town stores and how they’ve been able to continue to increase business in hard times.
After shutting down automotive production more than two months ago, many automotive assembly plants are beginning to bring their workforce back. Around 133,000 workers are expected to return to work this week, getting the post-pandemic recovery effort underway in America. It’s one of the first truly positive signs that the economy is starting to resume. The news of car factories reopening is just the start. Carmakers will require a steady stream of parts to supply the assembly lines, essentially pulling the parts manufacturers along with them in the restart process. Read More
One of the American auto dealer’s greatest allies has announced his intention to retire at the end of 2020. Peter Welch is currently the president and CEO of the National Automobile Dealers Association, but his tenure will come to an end at the end of the calendar year. Read More
