Drivers Can Get Porsches on Demand With a $2,000-a-Month Subscription
Earlier this year, we told you about Book by Cadillac, a subscription-based service that gives subscribers access to the automaker’s entire lineup. Then, in September, we told you about Care by Volvo, a flat-fee service covering everything from maintenance to insurance and allows subscribers to swap for a new Volvo every 24 months. Then there was Hyundai’s new shopper assurance program and now shoppers can get Porsches on demand with another app-based subscription. Porsche is partnering with Atlanta-based startup Clutch Technologies, which Bloomberg says sells analytics software that can predict which models will be in demand based on past customer behavior, weather conditions, and other factors. A Look at Costco’s Car Selling Program and Soaring Sales
Looking for every way possible to get your dealership in front of potential car buyers is something you could get on board with, right? Maximum exposure, especially in your own city, is important to your bottom line. Costco feels the exact same way. For 28 years, the big box store has been connecting car shoppers with local dealerships. Rich Borg, Executive VP with the Costco Auto Program, says it’s a pretty straightforward, haggle-free process. According to NBC, Costco said it sold approximately 300,00 vehicles in 2012 and sales hit almost 500,000 last year. Read More
