Taylor Berndt, the general sales manager at Neuville Motors GM, is being recognized as one of this year’s CBT News’ 40 Under 40 recipients. This award honors retail automotive professionals who exemplify excellence, passion, and success in their careers.
Berndt’s journey in the automotive retail industry began during his time at Northwood University. While studying, he secured an internship at Neuville Motors GM. During his internship, he received invaluable hands-on experience in the parts, service, and sales departments.
During his breaks from school, Berndt continued working at the dealership, taking on additional responsibilities that showcased his commitment and initiative. Notably, he played a key role in implementing a new CRM system. This project streamlined operations and enhanced the dealership’s efficiency. His dedication and leadership skills earned him a permanent position at Neuville Motors, where he eventually became General Sales Manager. In this capacity, Berndt oversees CRM systems, marketing strategies, and used car operations, driving innovation and success within the dealership.
Reflecting on his career, Berndt considers the modernization of Neuville Motors’ technology and the streamlining of its operations as his proudest achievements. These efforts improved internal processes and positioned the dealership for long-term growth and adaptability.
Looking ahead, Berndt’s ambitions remain firmly rooted in the automotive industry. By the age of 30, he aspires to own or co-own er a dealership. He’s currently working on a degree in automotive marketing and management, which will further enhance his expertise in the field and strengthen his business acumen.
