2023 Ford Maverick

Ford announced that it will offer a Tremor package for the 2023 Ford Maverick. Without adding too many of the specialized features that raise the cost of a dedicated trail runner, the Tremor package increases go-anywhere capability and makes a few minor cosmetic adjustments.

Ford’s Tremor series debuted with the 2014 F-150 and was designed to give customers access to a less expensive sport truck. The Tremor reappeared for the 2021 F-150 and added off-road components to the mix, a strategy that was later adopted by the Super Duty Tremor and Ranger Tremor variants.

Now, the 2023 Maverick is the latest to offer the Tremor package on its XLT and Lariat variants with the 250-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and FX4 package. An innovative twin-clutch rear-drive that can direct almost all rear power to one wheel is part of the all-wheel-drive system.

According to Todd Eckert, manager of Ford’s pickup marketing, the package allows Maverick purchasers access to a feature that has proven popular on Ford’s larger pickups.

According to Ford, the MSRP for the Tremor package on Maverick models will be $2,995. If you also want the appearance package, tack on an additional $1,495. The carmaker also disclosed that the Maverick order banks, which had been shut down for the hybrid model since December and for the gas-only vehicle since January due to overwhelming demand, would reopen in September.
