In the fast-paced automotive sales and marketing world, few stand out quite like Ashley DeBoer. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mint Motors, DeBoer combines innovation with strategy to drive success in a competitive industry. Her exceptional performance and unwavering dedication have earned her a spot on this year’s prestigious CBT News’ 40 Under 40 list—a celebration of the brightest young talents in retail automotive.
DeBoer’s journey into the automotive retail industry began during the pandemic, with her first full week of work coinciding with the COVID-19 shutdown. Initially, when she joined Mint Motors, she was helping with data entry for the company’s wholesale operation, which sold about 200 cars monthly. The pandemic forced the company to shift from wholesale to retail, transitioning into a full-blown dealership with both a retail operation and an auto repair shop.
DeBoer played a crucial role in Mint Motors’ transformation, growing the business from a small wholesale operation to a large-scale dealership. She was heavily involved in the marketing and vehicle acquisition during a period when the market was experiencing explosive growth.
DeBoer’s proudest achievement was when she became a partner at Mint Motors earlier this year. She feels a strong sense of responsibility in helping lead the company while representing women in a male-dominated industry.
DeBoer is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Tampa with a focus on customer experience and sales training in the automotive industry. She plans to create a consulting firm that combines theory and application to help dealerships with sales training and development.
