Robbie Turner’s journey in the automotive industry is a compelling narrative of growth, commitment, and familial legacy. Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Beaumont, Robbie got his start at the tender age of 14, working at his father’s dealership, JK Chevrolet. From humble beginnings picking up cigarette butts and ensuring the service drive stayed immaculate, he learned the value of every role within a dealership.

By 16, his responsibilities expanded as he became a car porter, honing his skills in vehicle presentation and customer service. This early exposure to the nuances of the car business instilled in him a profound respect for all aspects of dealership operations, a value imparted by his father.

Ascending the ranks, Robbie embraced the role of a salesman at 19, quickly establishing himself as a top performer, all while pursuing a college education. His academic journey led him to Prairie View A&M University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2015. However, the allure of the family business was too strong, and Robbie opted to join Turner Chevrolet full-time.

Driven by a desire to excel and lead, Robbie enrolled in the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Academy, earning his credentials and graduating in 2018. His dedication was rewarded with a promotion to Vice President of Operations, a role in which he skillfully oversees the daily operations of Turner Chevrolet.

Robbie’s commitment to the industry is further evidenced by his accolades, including the Chevrolet Mark of Excellence Award, Community Pinnacle Award, and the Premier Elite Award from General Motors. His involvement extends beyond the dealership as he is an active member of NAMAD’s NextGen program, HADA, and sits on the board of the LMA for Houston Chevy dealers.

Robbie’s hobbies include attending classic car shows, bike riding, and cooking.
