Chevrolet has officially announced the pricing for the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado, with a starting price of $38,995, including a $1,995 destination fee. This marks a slight increase from last year’s model, which began at $38,795. Despite the uptick, the Silverado remains competitively priced against its rivals, with the 2025 Ford F-150 starting at $40,605 and the Ram 1500 at $42,270. Even the Toyota Tundra, another full-size contender, is priced higher at $42,035.
Although the 2025 Silverado doesn’t bring major updates, there are subtle tweaks to keep it fresh. New color options, Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue, have been added to the palette, and customers can choose newly available 20-inch wheels featuring a high-gloss black finish. Several trims have also received additional standard equipment. For instance, the Work Truck (WT) trim now includes cruise control, while LT and higher trims are equipped with a trailer brake controller. Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate the ZR2 trim’s premium audio system and the addition of front and rear park assist.
Under the hood, the 2025 Silverado continues to offer a range of powertrain options. The lineup includes a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Customers can also opt for a 5.3-liter V8 with 355 horsepower or a 6.2-liter V8 generating 420 horsepower. For those interested in diesel, the 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six offers 305 horsepower and a robust 495 lb-ft of torque.
Additionally, Chevrolet has positioned the Silverado Custom Trail Boss as the most affordable factory-lifted full-size truck in the market, starting at $53,795. The Trail Boss comes with a 2-inch lift and Z71 suspension, making it a standout option for those seeking off-road capabilities.
