Today on CBT News, Brian Pasch, Founder and CEO of PCG Companies, joins the show to preview the upcoming 2021 AWAs. Each year, the AWAs recognize innovation in automotive marketing. Pasch is also the host of CBT’s Auto Marketing Now.Â
Pasch begins the conversation by discussing how the AWAs have been instrumental in launching a greater marketing awareness for new companies. Many companies that have won AWAs have gone on to make huge strides towards improving the automotive industry. Pasch says that over 1,000 dealers have already registered for the awards. While it’s unfortunate that the awards can’t take place in person, the virtual experience is going to reach far more dealers who typically weren’t able to attend the ceremony.Â
This year, there are many categories for different awards. One of Pasch’s favorite categories is the Rising Stars category. These are companies new to the market that are being recognized for their strong performance. Other categories include digital retailing, automotive websites, CRMs, sales processes, among others. A new twist to the ceremony is that every product review will be made available through video. Dealers that hear about companies that win awards will then be able to watch videos that showcase the capabilities of the vendor.
Pasch concludes the conversation by discussing the presentation of the Lighthouse Award. This prestigious award is given to companies that shed light on various issues concerning the automotive industry. Past recipients have been awarded for their diligence in educating dealers and industry leaders through the platform they provide.Â
The AWAs are free to everyone. Dealers, industry professionals, and OEMs can RSVP at brianpasch.com.
